Neste Announces Collaboration With American Airlines
On November 13, 2017, Neste, a member of BRAG, announced it has entered into an agreement with American Airlines to explore opportunities to reduce the airline’s environmental footprint.  To achieve this goal, the companies are evaluating in-flight and on-the-ground opportunities to utilize Neste’s renewable fuels.  One aspect of the collaboration will involve complementary efforts to facilitate acceptance and commercialization of High Freeze Point HEFA (HFP-HEFA) renewable jet fuel, which is currently under consideration for approval by the American Society for Testing ... read more >

Grain, Ethanol Industry Send Letter To U.S. Trade Representative On Brazil Ethanol Tariff
On November 14, 2017, the Governors' Biofuels Coalition announced that grain and ethanol industry stakeholders, including the U.S. Grains Council, the Renewable Fuels Association (RFA), and Growth Energy, sent a letter to U.S. Trade Representative Robert E. Neste Among Most Sustainable Companies In Climate Disclosure Project

AkzoNobel Studies Plans To Build Bermocoll Plant

Neste Announces Renewable Jet Fuel To Be Used At Genève Aéroport

AkzoNobel, Itaconix Announce Development Of Biobased Chelates
On September 5, 2017, AkzoNobel, a member of the Biobased and Renewable Products Advocacy Group (BRAG®), announced that its Specialty Chemicals business signed an application agreement with Itaconix to develop innovative biobased chelates for consumer and industrial detergents and cleaners.  According to Peter Kuijpers, AkzoNobel General Manager of Chelates and Micronutrients, biobased chelates are replacements for the phosphate compounds that are being phased out of consumer and commercial cleaning products due to environmental concerns.  This is the second partnership to ... read more >

DuPont, ADM Win Innovation In Bioplastics Award
